An authentic recipe famous in Tamilnadu made duing the Maha Shivarathri as a Prasadham for Lord Shiva. It’s also a healthy dish and the kids will love it.
Ingredients:
- Sweet potato [L] – 1 no
- Grated Jaggery – ½ cup / to taste
- Cardamom powder – 1 pinch
- Grated coconut – ¼ cup
- Ghee – 1 tsp
Serves – 3 persons

Preparation:
- Cook the sweet potato in the pressure cooker up to 3 whistle. Release the pressure carefully. Take it out , Peel the skin and roughly mash it.
- Heat the Kadai and add the grated Jaggery and add little water and let it melt. Once melted, take it out and stain the impurities.
- Add the Jaggery water back in the Kadai and bring it into boil. Add the mashed Potato, grated Coconut, Cardamom powder and Ghee. Mix it well. Let it cook until thick mashed up consistency and switch off the flame.
- Serve it as Entrée/desert/snack. Enjoy the yummy taste.
