An off beat (homemade) Idli that is easy and quick to make. I came across Tawa Idli recently and I liked it very much.
Ingredients:
- Cooked Idli – 4 nos
- Gun powder – 1 tbsp / to taste
- Onion [finely chopped] – 1 tbsp
- Coriander leaves – [finely chopped] – 1 tbsp
- Butter – 1 tbsp / to tatse
- Gingely oil – 2 tsp
Serves – 1 person
Preparation Time – 10 min
Cook Time – 5 min
Preparation:
- Heat the Oil and Butter in the Tawa, add chopped Onion and cook until translucent. Then add the Gun powder and Coriander leaves and mix it well.
- Now add the Idli and bond it well with the above mix. Then flip over the other side and take it out.
- Serve it hot with Coconut chutney or Curd. Enjoy the yummy Tawa Idli.
