7 Cup Cake is one of the easy sweet to make for Diwali and is rich in taste. It’s so easy even for a first timer. Happy Diwali to everyone!

Ingredients (Batter):
- Besan (chickpea/ gram flour) – 1 cup
- Grated coconut – 1 cup
- Ghee (melted) – 1 cup
- Milk (I used whole milk) – 1 cup
- Sugar – 3 cups
- Cardamom powder – 2 pinches
Serves – 18-20 pieces
Preparation Time – 1 hr
Preparation:
- Dry roast the Besan until nice aroma comes in a slow flame.
- Take a heavy bottom pan, add the ghee and add the roasted besan and mix it without lumps. Then add the coconut and sugar and mix it well seperately.
- Now add the milk and mix it well without any lumps. It is important to keep mixing it often. Cook it in the medium flame.
- Cook until the ghee is oozing out in the sides. You can also see the mixture becoming thick.
- Take a plate, grease it with Ghee. Pour the mixture in the plate. Keep it aside. When it’s warm, cut it into desire shape using a knife.
