SERVING SIZE β 2 to 3
INGREDIENTS:
- Potato (Medium) β 2 nos
- Green chilies (chopped) β 3 -4 Β nos
- Mustered seeds β 1 tsp
- Channa dal β 1 tsp
- Urad dal β 1 tsp
- Curry leaves β 1 sprig
- Grated coconut β 2 tbsp
- Turmeric powder β 1 tsp
- Ginger (Minced) β 1 tbsp
- Oil β 3 tbsp
- Salt β to taste
- Hing β 2 pinch
- Coriander leaves β few
- Lemon juice β 1 tbsp
PREPARATION:
- Cook the potatoes in the cooker for 3 whistles. When it cools peal the skin and mash it [or] cut in to small pieces.
- Take a kadai, add oil. When itβs hot add mustered seeds. When it splutters, add channa dal ,urad dal,curry leaves. Then add ginger,hing,grated coconut and turmeric powder.
- Have a quick mix.
- Then add the potatoes and salt. Let it cooks for 10 minutes in the medium flame.
- After switching off the flame, add lemon juice and mix it well. Garnish it with Coriander leaves.
- Serve it hot with rice, chapatti or as a side dish.
